Back in March, Anthony Henry suffered a broken jaw while competing in a match against Bryan Keith for DEADLOCK Pro Wrestling. The injury was amplified to the public eye only a month later, as Henry was released from his AEW/ROH contract while recovering from the injury. Tony Khan addressed these concerns quickly and brought Henry back to the company after he healed up from his injury.

As it turns out, DEADLOCK came through and helped Henry pay for the costs associated with the injury. Henry discussed this while going back and forth with someone on social media.

Henry returned from the jaw injury in May, competing alongside his WorkHorsemen tag partner JD Drake. Unfortunately, in October, Henry suffered a torn biceps while facing Gabe Kidd. Henry has yet to make his return to the ring.

Honestly I think DPW is one of those indies I’ve never heard anyone say anything bad about. The boys who run it don’t seem to be abusive cokehead fucknuggets, the shows are always fun and well booked, people get paid decently and don’t complain about random bullshit, and now here they are covering Henry’s injury which is far out of the norm for an Indie as you’re usually on your own for paying for injuries.

    Keep this training rolling.
