Escape from New York meets Ghost in the Machine.
I think it’s a shame it’ll be a month late as compared to the in-universe significant august 2023 event, but that’s fine.
I think it looks way more cinematic than the base game. I’m not sure how much were going to be feeling that, especially since that runs the risk of railroading players and removing our freedom.
Still, I am stoked.
I loved the base game pretty much from launch and thought it was a masterpiece, glad to see the trailer looks so good. Very excited.
Bring it on, need to build up on those ~500 hours.
Seems like this would start before “meet Hanako at Embers,” not after. V isn’t very alive in some of the game’s endings.
Really hyped for this, while they fucked up the innitial launch of the maine game they constantly improved it over the past few years, ive completet it a few month ago and it honestly was one of my favorite Games ever
Is Cyberpunk worth playing on Series X these days? I know PC is the best way to play, but I’m not gonna be able to update my graphics card any time soon. I don’t know if I should wait until I’m able to upgrade, or just go ahead and play on console.
Far and beyond a great experience.
Played through two and a half times on my Series X and it looks beautiful. The Series X is a powerful console, so you’re still experiencing it the best way it can possibly be on console. The game is totally stable now and you’re doing yourself a disservice by holding off.
It even works like a charm on Series S, so Series X will be beautiful. It’s only last gen with their obsolete CPU’s and HDDs that don’t work well.

I had this game on launch and I’ve never been so disappointed by a game. Curious if after all the updates and this expansion if it will be worth giving a try again.
They can change systems but the story can’t change much.
There is a vibrant modding scene on Nexus for the game on PC. Lots of interesting mods to change the play experience. I feel the game will forever be solid but also somewhat disappointing. It had the potential to be so much more and isn’t at the level of The Witcher 3.
