Well, the Aquarion franchise has always been kind of uneven, but this looks like the worst yet. Things that went through my head as I was watching this:

• That’s the ugliest artwork I’ve seen in a while.
• You’re trying to tell me that these are supposed to be teens?! They look like preschoolers.
• I wonder if he’s the reincarnation of the dog again.
• The soundtrack might be good if it didn’t feel like it was trying too hard.

I don’t know whether I’ll be continuing with this or not. Depends on how awful the series yet to premiere are, probably.
