With a style that's a fair bit similar to Minecraft with an expansive universe seen in the likes of No Man's Sky, the recently announced Cubic Odyssey from Atypical Games and Gaijin Network Ltd looks pretty darn fun.
Nms absolutely doesn’t hit the way Minecraft does, and it isn’t the blocks. Minecraft allows for much more free expression with what you build than NMS does (from what little I’ve played of NMS).
It’s the blocks! (I never felt like I could create good looking buildings using the walls-stick-to-the-floor building system that NMS and other games use.)
Isn’t NMS already a kind of harvesting and crafting Minecraft simulator in space? Or is it the blocks?
