Idk exactly when, but at some point in my 20s getting a new appliance, trying out a new cleaner or snagging a good deal on some pots and pans became more exciting than a new game or device lmao

we have a half-dozen perfectly good forks at the office (break area), even more spoons and knives. my co-worker can ‘only’ use this certain one of each because they ‘feel right’. she absolutely will not use any of the others. they weren’t even her ‘contribution’ to the ‘kitchen’. she just like’s mine (cheap ones from walmart before they started making 'em really cheap) better.
