The room in that picture is cute, but it’s so limiting about where the bed can go. Left and right are concussion town. The window is fine for some people, but there are lots of reasons not to want to sleep there. The other side is probably where the door or stairs are. Hang a fucking hammock, I guess.
Naah, just put it next to the window against the wall, there’s plenty of headroom anyways, no need to stand up in bed and the one sleeping next to the wall can scoot their way out.

My cousins had a weird space in their house that was on top of a staircase, it was basically a storage space for bedding but perfect for us kids to hide in. We’d access it through a small door that was 1,5 meter up from floor. It was big enough to lie in and sit upright. I wish I had that in our flat, I’d definitely make a nest there!
