Its about $13 from $1.60, but the cost of housing and vehicle ownership has increased in KY from $12.6k to $261k and $3500 to 50k.
If it had kept pace with these things it would be almost $25 an hour, which is enough to get by with one adult or two adults and kids.
Now recalculate using the old method of calculating inflation instead of the newer method.
I calculate with a search engine because economics are otherwise outside my understanding.
