…unironically, I’m a little surprised something like that isn’t a legit thing.
I’d buy the FUCK out of a brand that contributed a dollar toward my student loans with the purchase of their cereal or macaroni noodles or w/e. So long as the price tag isn’t jacked up a dollar to offset - if it’s a net saving and the volume of food is comparable, I could forgive a lot in the taste or quality department.
Hell, I’d make entire meal plans around that brand. Gotta eat anyway, so it’s a win for me; and while their profit margin wouldn’t be as high as a purchase from a non-student-loan-debt-slave, the massive uptick in brand loyalty would be a win for them.

It already is, though. GM increases the price of every item by the value on the box top so it’s a through-tax that you get to pay. Every top not given to a school is just more money in the bank for them.
Yea I’m more of a generics/bulk kinda guy. If it’s a dollar toward my loans + an upcharge on the actual item, then fuggit, I’m sticking with the cheapies.
The fuck does it actually do anyway?

hello… ???The Iranian yogurt is not the issue here.
Are S&H Green Stamps still valid???
And what will I do with all these aluminum tabs from the cans, I have been saving.
Oh, why did I eat all those Lucky Charms? Guess it’s time to dump all those box tops I’ve been saving.
