A South Korean court has ordered Japan to compensate a group of women who were forced to work in wartime brothels.

    Best of luck enforcing it, I love Japan but it’s like talking to a brick wall when it comes to war time atrocities.

        If they started paying now, they would get innandated with demands, they should have dealt with this before.

        Japan, to my knowledge, has never dealt with it’s WWII history, as far as I have heard it is mostly not talked about.

        I believe they would be a healthier nation if they did.

          They would be a healthier nation if they dropped the narration that your boss somehow owns your life. I think most of their issues (including not dealing with their WWII history) comes from this.

            I know too little about Japanese culture to have a good understanding of that example, but at first glance, yes, that seems to make some sense.
