Mad respect for sticking with it, it might not have launched in a great place but it would have been easy to cut and run as others have.
They went above and beyond to show they were committed to the game.
And even after the bungled launch they not only delivered much of what was promised, they still managed to make an extremely memorable game that outclasses many other rpgs.
Looking forward to any further content in the setting, be it more dlc or a cyberpunk 2080, with multiplayer support would be the dream.
Nobody wants to dissapoint Keanu.
I was never particularly into the cyberpunk genre, so I was largely immune to the Cyberpunk 2077 hype, and subsequent disappointment and anger. I’d seen tons of videos of trailers and gameplay, and never really expected to play the game myself.
I built a beast of a new PC a few days ago and picked up CP2077 on sale to put it through its paces. I loaded up Cyberpunk and my jaw was on the floor. This is the most beautiful game I’ve ever seen! The gameplay feels smooth and satisfying and I’m really engrossed in the lore and environment. Of course, I’m playing the 2.1 patched version of the game, so I don’t know what the experience at launch would have been like. Regardless, so far it’s felt like an incredible game!
Awesome trailer. I know many people considered the story and gameplay to be good with updates, did the open world ever improve?
They’re finally adding a functioning Metro system in patch 2.1, along with repeatable car races. It’s been improved a bit, but don’t expect a Rockstar level open world.

After literally 6 complete playthroughs, I am tired now. I really doubt they can keep adding much more to keep me hooked, just retire the thing and focus on future projects already.
Just because you sank hundreds of hours into it doesn’t mean everyone else did.
Exactly. I play most games one time through and that’s it, and as long as the story and gameplay were good, I consider it well worth the money. I don’t expect hundreds of hours from every game, I just expect a solid playthrough.
