If you love board game adaptions for the digital age, you're going to want to check out the Play Pink With Twin Sails Humble Bundle for a whole lot of it.
Some of these might be great board games but for example the digitalGloomhaven is basically borked, just the first few comments describe it as unplayable mess (recent rating: Mixed). It’s also ~15G to download, not exactly sit and play.
Also Carcassone has many open source (free) implementations https://wikicarpedia.com/car/Digital_Versions#JCloisterZone .
And unless I’ve missed something, in the official digital version you have to create a 3rd party account to access any kind of over-the-net multiplayer (?) otherwise only Steams Play Together seems like the choice for when I don’t want all my other friends to also buy the game (as it is with the physical board game).
