A while ago I had an Ender 3 Pro which I upgraded with a BL-Touch and self-printed parts. It worked great and was reliable but not something I would call plug and play.

Is there a clone that’s relatively plug and play? I don’t mind assembling but don’t want constant readjustments.

HI, owner of an x2 here. It was my first printer and after more than a year of on and off tinkering it finally started printing quite nicely and reliably.

I’d still get a magnetic pei sheet and there is a metal extruder arm upgrade that is good. I’m also thinking about printing a better fan shroud out of PETG but I haven’t gotten around to it yet.

Overall it was still a learning curve to get going, and I made a ton of mistakes during this time.

The machine is nice, I probably would recommend something more common for someone starting out so it’s easier to google/troubleshoot issues and find parts locally, so you don’t have to wait on shipping from china. But if you know what you’re doing go ahead!
