Shutting off the nation’s internet? I’m beginning to think this Putin might be some sort of totalitarian dictator.
They will have their own internet. It’ll be a glorious, internet. The average Russian won’t be able to do anything with it but check their daily news from the Kremlin, though.

Yep, this sounds like a surefire way to have all legitimate traffic drop to near zero and have an entire nation firewalled off at the ASN level for cybersecurity reasons.
