Well, this is a picture of a highschool class after all… What? It isn’t?

It’s a side effect of all the ‘highschoolers’ on TV being played by people in their 30s. When you see an actual real life highschooler, they look twelve.

It’s also just a side effect of being older in general. When I was a teenager, 21-year-olds looked way older than 18-year-olds to me. Now, 21-year-olds still look like kids to me, and seem almost indistinguishable from 18-year-olds.

I have a ThinkPad X280 (similar laptop from the same year but the smaller ultrabook variant that’s ≈ 35% lighter and ≈ 15% thinner. Considering the form factor it could be presumed to be less durable) and its holding up great. I have replaced the tiny ass 256 sata m.2 with the cheapest 1 TB NVMe I could find and I also replaced the terrible 1366x768 TN panel with a much nicer (not the best, but much nicer) 1920x1080 IPS panel.

The only thing that’s damaged is the sticker thing on the trackpad. So if anyone knows if that could be replaced cheaply please tell me.

I very happy with the laptop, I wish it had more RAM (and replaceable RAM) and a better processor but it’s not the end of the world.

The laptop was originally the laptop my school provided for free and when I finished school I bought it for 150 € which it is absolutely worth. Apart from the trackpad and slight normal body wear It still looks pretty much brand new.

The really weird thing is that their notes have nothing to do with the slides on display.

    Some people should be bullied.

The proclamation of your fetish in a public setting is fucking gross.

I wonder if that really is a fetish thing in this case. I get the impression kids are getting so used to seeing the raunchiest stuff just casually around it’s becoming normalized for them, to the point where he may sincerely just be going for edgy humor.

No people should be bullied. Ever. I just hope you don’t realize how awful it is to be bullied and have no idea of the consequences. Please try and take some time to understand what it means to be bullied.

Some people should be called on their behaviour, get a chance to explain themselves, get a chance to understand why their behaviour was problematic and get a chance to do better next time.

Honestly, your fault (or should I say reward?) for peeking at someone else’s screen.

The “waist boobs” are quite the sight to behold.

Human sexuality is ✨ c o m p l i c a t e d ✨ and all the labels we use are just rough estimations and shorthands because every box has stuff that doesn’t quite fit but seems like it might.

Only way it matters is dragging a fetish into public. Any flavor is inappropriate

Idk if I don’t like lemonade or peanut butter I’m going to mind my business and not judge people who do, so what is there to be curious about? Same shit different spoon, and being a bigot isn’t a good look.

Maybe he liked the pic and is questioning his own sexuality(or you know, is actually just curious). Why jump to the “HE’S EVIL!” conclusion?

Given their eye roll emoji response to another commenter and general phrasing I’m gonna go with general ignorance, but yes I would agree with you generally speaking. Not many good intentions come from a “just curious…” in my experience.
