You don’t need to be in the EU to exercise rights under GDPR. Any entity that wants to interact with the EU needs to comply regardless of where in the world it exists.
Also, I don’t remember ever telling Reddit where I live in the world and these requests are most likely not investigated in anyway due to the work load. They will just action it as a path of least resistance.

GDPR is an EU law. I think maybe California has some similar state level law, but I havent heard of any equivalent law exists for the USA.
If You live in California You can use California Consumer Privacy Act as base of Your request
There are 18 states now that have data protection laws modeled after NIST that include allowances for data deletion requests.
