I’d like to see Willow get the win, but I think this week it’s Statlander and next week it’s Willow.

FTW Title Match: Jericho just because it’s Jericho

What I want is for Hook to jump him from behind, lock in the Tazmission for a quick tap and then throw that title into the trash like he’s Shane Douglas with the NWA Championship. What I expect is… probably more Learning Tree.

AEW World Title #1 Contendership Casino Gauntlet Match: Hangman

I know the rumor is that Prince Puma is coming in for this, but I don’t see anyone, ANYONE, that wins over Hangman and if they do, they better be a big name, and Riccochet isn’t it.

AEW World Tag Team Title Three Way Match: Bucks

I see the Bucks getting the win back from last year, I’m pulling for Acclaimed though, of the three teams they are the ones I like.

AEW World Trios Title London Ladder Match: Patriarchy

I don’t know, I’m not big into large tag matches, but I’m a big fan of The Patriarchy and like what they’re doing so I choose them. HOB just doesn’t get me going.

AEW TBS Title Match: Mercedes

Mercedes can’t lose here, if she does it’s WWE all over again, wins the title but can’t defend it at the big shows. I’m torn here because I think the AEW OG’s should shine more, but Mercedes is literally “big money” for AEW and so should be in the big money position. She wins, Britt continues the chase.

AEW TNT Title Coffin Match: Jack Perry

I don’t like Darby at all, Jack Perry is my guy here, I love what he’s done since going to Japan after that Punk shit. Let Darby climb something and fall through a real glass coffin lid for a Perry win.

AEW American Title Match: Ospreay

MJF just for shits and giggles, this seems highly predictable in Ospreay winning it on his home turf, so while I think an MJF win would be great, Ospreay wins.

AEW Women’s World Title Match: Mariah

Mariah has to win, has to, it will totally break Toni and as much as I like Timeless Toni, Revenge Toni is pretty great and will be even better chasing her title. I loved the TCM host being in the hype vid. Toni almost single handedly helped keep me invested in AEW for a while there. This is my main event although we know it won’t be the shows.

AEW World Title Vs. Career Match: Bryan Danielson

I really dislike this match, completely, not from a match or competitor standpoint, but because the stipulation just doesn’t work for me brother. You have Swerve who is in the middle of his initial title run that I find to be just ok, and the win would cement his status at the top, you would hope, but then he’d be the mega-heel that put Danielson out to pasture and I’ve kind of enjoyed face Swerve, even if he did break into a mans house and threaten his family just a few months ago. Then you have Danielson, he’s put his career on the line but has said the plan is to be a part timer going forward, he could lose and do the whole no wrestler ever retires thing, but I just don’t see that. I think he wins, he gets the “Lifetime Achievement” Championship run before becoming the part timer, and I like the guy, but I think it’s a mistake if it happens.
