I still think this type of control veers heavily into employee status and not “independent contractor” status and it sucks ass for Fenix because he’s the only one getting hurt by this. AEW has so many workers, half of which aren’t used, that him leaving doesn’t mean shit, and WWE is so far ahead of AEW in terms of business that this doesn’t hurt WWE at all either, so only the Lucha Brothers are harmed here.
