You know just buying the stuff isnt that bad. The main problem is that most people treat everything as very disposable. Of course whatever pleases you as making your own stuff is very satisfying. Just always remember to blame ceos not yourself.

I want to be one but have a moral crisis every time I shop for goth outfits and accessories because plastic clothing is nuking the planet

I know. “No ethical consumption” and all. It’s probably more of an anxiety thing than an eco-philosophical thing tbh.
I’m also very picky and end up making/modding a lot of my clothes anyway haha
