So you think it’s okay for somebody to be tortured if they’re on the wrong side of the political aisle?

What has he done that you perceive as right wing? As far as I’ve seen, he’s always been anti-establishment and pro-transparency, two things I would not associate with right wing ideologies.

Don’t put words in my mouth.

This shithead selectively leaked to help Trump win.

It’s sick to see this post try to blame liberals for not jumping to his rescue. It’s like saying we should have more tolerance for intolerance.

You should have respect for human life. Regardless of whether he intentionally tried to help Trump, the actions taken against him are completely unjustified and would be considered a war crime if done against a prisoner of war.

I’m choosing not to get worked up about a rapist stuck in jail cause he wore out his welcome with other scumbags.

I will save my concern for an actual political prisoner.

It’s funny what you say, because he never was selecting between what to leak or not. He’s only got leaks and published those no matter what. So you’re accusing the anonymous leaker rather than Julian, to help Trump win, that leaker whose identity we still don’t know of, because Julian Assange was only a safe middleman for them. And looks like he fairly well did his job.

This is one of the points, why we think it is unaccaptable to have him tortured to death.

Then fucking process him according to our laws, like we do with every other Trump ally. Don’t just keep him locked up in solitary confinement indefinitely ‘awaiting trial’.

This Chelsea Manning-esque treatment is not how we’ve done things for any other Trump ally. What did Assange do that specifically deserves the quiet Guantanamo treatment?

Is it really so hard to be somewhat consistent with our own fucking rulebook?
