People that go into a job field like IT or healthcare should only be able to pursue the career if they are passionate, willing to stay up to date in their work, actually be skilled, willing to follow standards, (mainly IT-specific) actually be strictly thorough with their work (I’m talking Linus-Torvalds-level strict), not be a chud, not be a pyscho/sociopath, not do it for a paycheck or for power over people, etc. I’m so tired of dealing with shitty doctors and IT people hogging jobs because they had the money to afford the degree and the friends to get hired via nepotism, especially jobs where they can’t even do the basics, like creating functions in a programming language or knowing black women under severe pain aren’t simply having menstrual cramps.

I swear we live in a parallel universe where everyone’s job roles have switched and over half of the people are incompetent at their jobs. The only benefit in this universe is that I look forward to the West collapsing because the politicians are such fucking dipshits they don’t even know how to easily maintain their rule as the bourgeoisie.

Of course this is political, because everything is.

      FACTS

I really liked Sekiro and I was excited to see FromSoft get more complicated with how their fighting worked and how the player engaged non-boss enemies… but then Elden Ring came out and it was back to just “dodge and hit”.

    Criminalize cars

    Criminalize headlights

Criminalize headlights mounted higher than 18" above the ground

Criminalize headlights aimed higher than 18" above the ground

I’m cool with LEDs though, lights that use less power and last longer are cool.

  • Cats and any other pets that present a major threat to the ecosystem must be put on a lead at all times when outside the house

Pets should be given as much freedom as a toddler has, if not that, then the inverse. If you are fine with being on the same plane as a human that screams constantly and shits uncontrollably, then you should feel no different if it’s a bird instead

The problem isn’t LED headlights as much as it is aftermarket LED headlights not working with the reflectors intended for halogen ones. This causes them to reflect light up as well as down, making them more blinding to other drivers. A car is only intended for the type of bulb it was sold with, and changing the bulb to a different type is a serious safety hazard.

And secondly for some stupid reason the earlier model cars from American manufacturers with LED headlights used PWM to control the brightness, giving them the flickering appearance (and for many people a headache).

And the worst part is that a good LED headlight is indistinguishable from a halogen one, so there’s really no way to fix their reputation.

We also need regulations on headlight height, most of the popular big pickup trucks and SUVs have their headlights higher up than the roof of my hatchback. It’s not safe to drive when even properly installed lights are shining straight in through the windshield.

squidward-scream-point Gas-powered leaf blowers should be banned, or at least heavily regulated

Oh and personal ownership for pickup trucks should require proof of need. Otherwise, have a communal pool that people can borrow from on the off chance they are actually hauling something
