Ok, my first reaction was “fucking bullshit”, because no way that’s a real reason.

Then I followed to this linked kotaku piece about Judgement game series, which talks about how Johnny’s, one of the biggest model/talent agencies in Japan, is worse than Nintendo in its “image protection”.

So, while “we do not want anyone modding vulgar versions of the main character as well as other characters in the game” is still fucking bullshit, it might not actually come straight from the developer. If the game does relatively well, expect people to r34 the hell out of the characters anyway.

Game looks like shit anyways. The peoples faces felt like some late PS2 or early PS3 era cinematics. Just lifeless. Especially that opening part. Her fucking eyes are like PS2 eyeballs on garbage games.
