It’s not like most of the other series that get posted here, at least in terms of story. Visually stunning, unique plot, many distinctive characters with plenty of development, and most importantly, existential dread. Sometimes it’s a little hard to follow what’s going on in the action due to the peculiar style, and some may consider parts slow.
More fiction than science, lots of body/flesh/soul fantasy elements
Pho’s rising capabilities and powers reminiscent of isekai protagonists
Starts with dynamics akin to high school manga, ends in an unusual kind of psychological horror
The anime’s Season 2 that would wrap the story got cancelled because it turned out the studio used sweatshop labor sorry, misremembered it, it was just a plain old financial decision
