          its part of why i think this law is too good to be true

          i tought it was supposed to curb exactly this type of thing?

    They would have to vett all the closed source systems like iMessage to prove this

    Which they won’t do, so it’s all down to the cops getting caught

      It outright prevents any legislation mandating backdoors, on a level harder to change than even a constitution.

    Elections matter. Elections decide who gets to appoint judges (or you can directly elect judges depending on the court system). Being politically active in other ways matters too. Apathy doesn’t work.
