Minimally, it takes a lack of empathy to open a tweet with “My sister is fat”

so I text her some motivation.

so I reinforced her fears that other gym members will mock or judge her. Very motivating.

As an avid gym-goer, I dont know why tf so many of them feel so compelled to belittle others for their weight. Everyone is there to feel good and improve themselves, why discourage them?

I suspect its an ego thing and punching down lets them feel superior. Gym people trend towards egotistical.

Also going to the gym is a terrible and extraordinarily difficult way to try to lose weight. If you want to lose weight you really need to go to the source and eat less

Bullying often comes from insecurity. In the first place she believes (probably taught by parents) that unattractive people are unworthy and subhuman. Combine that with emotional abuse that undermines her self-esteem, and you get someone who desperately needs affirmation that they are part of the in-group and not one of the undesirables. Putting someone else down gives a momentary feeling of being above the undesirable group, therefore among the desirables, even though she knows deep-down that social acceptance can only come from others.

Hannah Pearl Davis aka Just Pearly Things. She’s a right winger misogynist youtuber. She calls herself antifeminist and says women shouldn’t be allowed to vote.

Davis is a conservative, and she describes herself as an “anti-feminist”.[15] She has credited right-wing political commentators Ben Shapiro and Thomas Sowell for inspiring her media career and has been described as the “female Andrew Tate”.[15][16]

On June 28, 2023, she stated in a Twitter video that “women should not vote” and that “the courts, the legal system, all of society is basically pandering and simping for women.”[8] In an interview with Ethan Klein on the H3 Podcast, she stated that “if feminists want the right to vote, right, then it should come with the draft.” In the same interview, she argued that divorce should be illegal.[8]

Davis posted a now-deleted video in July 2023 called “Why Can’t We Talk About the Jews?”, which was widely criticized for containing anti-Semitic tropes.[17][18] In an interview with Piers Morgan on Piers Morgan Uncensored, she stated that the song was about cancel culture and free speech rather than anti-Semitism.[19] She also characterizes public perceptions surrounding slavery in the United States to be embellished.[15]

Ethan Klein is awful but he got her to call herself “low value” by her own misogynistic standards, and that was pretty funny.

My assumption is that they don’t really believe in anything. They just like having an excuse to bully others. If you believe that the world is going to be shit regardless of what anyone does forever, you don’t really have any incentives to do good. You just have incentives to revel in the chaos and destruction.

Also, plenty of women hate other women more than they hate men. They think finding the right man is their ticket out of patriarchy. Hilariously, despite being the worlds biggest pick me, Pearl is still single.
