Full quote:

People other than Tony Khan don’t have strong feelings on the situation. As for Tony, Tony likes Rey Fenix. He’s always liked and respected Rey Fenix. He just felt that if he let this thing slide that other people were going to start taking advantage of him and it was going to lead to a dam breaking. So they’re fucked and Penta has another month I believe and Fenix has 9-10. Tony found out what the plan was for them on SmackDown by the way and that also informed this. Take a wild guess who leaked that one backstage in AEW.

He really did, but honestly it needed to happen. TK tried too much to be the boss who was everyones buddy in an attempt to be as far as possible from a Vince McMahon as possible. He really needed to be somewhere in the middle and the Punk shit was the smack in the face he needed to start figuring out where on the scale he needs to be.

He just sucks at figuring it out and is still trying to lol.

He readily admits to being an IWC internet nerd in the '90s/'00s… it’s safe to say, you’re right.

I still think Tony’s the dick here, he has almost 200 workers on the roster, it won’t hurt him to let a couple of guys go if they don’t want to be there. We hated when Vince did this shit, we should hate when Tony does it.

Yet, at the end of the day they signed the contract that allowed for extensions for time missed. Really comes down to that whole are they employees or independent contractor’s debate…
