So any thoughts on the rumor that TNA is getting picked up in Canada by Sports Net 360? As an American I’m still stuck with AXS but it sounds like this is the channel WWE was on before the Netflix deal so surely it’s a better thing for them. I hope this means Anthem is trying to find them somewhere other than AXS in the US too.
Should be good. SportsNet used to stream WWE PPV to Canadian movie theaters too before we had the network. Words be cool if they did that again. Also as good as being there with all the marks in the theater.

It’s bad for cord cutters with the subscription service. TNA sent out a notice stating that due to the new TV deal the tv shows will be delayed 2 weeks on TNA+.

Getting NJPW? Sign up for NJPW World. DO NOT SIGN UP UNTIL THE 1ST. Japanese services (at least the wrestling ones) bill on a monthly 1st-to-1st cycle regardless of the sign up date. (i.e. if you sign up today you get charged a full month of service for whats remaining in this month [6 days] and then get charged on the 1st again for a full month, for January)
Catching up? Best would be to watch some of the big shows over the last few months (pending the above subscription lol). I’m sure there’s probably some youtube channels prepping their ‘what you need to know for WK19’ videos as there’s usually some but fuck if I know any off the top of my head sadly lol.
A brief tl;dr of my own from what ive been following:
Wrestle Kingdom:
-The KOPW title is gone, so they’re having a rumble to pick a #1 contender for the World title instead.
-Mayu Iwatani is defending the IWGP women’s belt against AZM. Mayu may not be long for Stardom as she’s possibly going to Marigold this year so AZM may pick up the win.
-4-way for the tv title, not much to say cept Phantasmo is back from his cancer ordeal so he may get that win.
-Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. EVIL in a lumberjack match. EVIL hates Tana, I think he cut off some of his hair a day ago too, expect EVIL to win via fuckery as is tradition with a match involving House of Torture.
-Shingo Takagi faces Takeshita with both of their titles on the line. I am telling you right now this match will f u c k.
-Douki/Despy for the jr title, lots of history between the two and both are fantastic wrestlers. These should help explain a bit, I believe.
-David Finlay vs. Yota Tsuji for the Global title, Finlay leads BC, Yota is in LIJ, Yota has a beautiful smile and Finlay is a shitter. Will be a good match.
-Naito/Takahashi. Takahashi has always been the ‘little brother’ to Naito and the two were supposed to wrestle years ago when they were the World and Jr champs respectively but got fucked by Covid and then injuries and scheduling, so Takahashi has been trying to ‘earn’ the match since and Naito finally agreed its gonna happen (which is good as Naito’s career is winding down quickly due to his eye(s).
-ZSJ vs Shota - Shota was a big fan favourite when he came back from excursion and started making a name for himself, carrying around Mox’s jacket everywhere (which he thankfully stopped) but he’s inserted himself into the main event by challenging ZSJ, and even the fans who like Shota have been booing him to hell cause they feel he has done nothing to earn the title shot yet, so expect big face ZSJ whupping Shota.Wrestle Dynasty:
-Intl women’s cup 4 way, we kinda know Willow or Athena wins cause no one cares about CMLL and Momo fans are not legally allowed to have nice things.
-The ROH tag title match is a big who cares.
-Ishii fighting against TBA for the NEVER title will be a good hard fight.
-Bucks vs GOK/TBA for the IWGP tag belts is…gonna be dead cause the Japan crowd d o e s n o t g i v e a f u c k about the young bucks.
-Mercedes/Mina…I am unsure. Both the STRONG and the RevPro belts are on the line and either could take it but I am assuming Mina will win so Mercedes can move on, but RevPro may be fine with her taking their belt cause its Mercedes so~
-David Finlay vs. Brody King, its Brody, it’ll fuck.
-Jack Perry vs. Yota Tsuji…I’m expecting it’ll be decent. The Japanese crowd likes Perry more than they did the Bucks but I expect if the Bucks win the titles they’ll probably interfere.
-Ricochet vs. Zack Sabre Jr., will be good but how into it the crowd is will be determined.
-Claudio Castagnoli vs. Shota Umino, Shota getting young boy’d.
-Kenny Omega vs. Gabe Kidd. We will all have a good time cause Kenny obviously wins but Gabe will make us doubt this hard for a few mins.tl;dr on the tl;dr - Bunch of good, bit o’ meh. lol

i’ll be honest, i’m mainly into it for stardom and kenny omega but the rest are ok too (i do like zsj but not as much as ospraey)
but yeah it’s mainly all about kenny <3
i had wrestle universe for a bit for tjpw but it was just hard to follow so especially when i wasn’t a regular watcher since i can’t stay focused >_>

So, are WK and WD going to be live on NJPW World? Never watched an NJPW show live (mostly due to the time difference), but I’m considering doing so for WD since it’s an afternoon show, which makes it slightly more feasible.
According to the schedule on the NJPW World website, WK19, WD, and New Years Dash are all live on said platform so you should be good!
Nice! Really didn’t want to deal with Triller due to my repeated issues with their app, but signing up with NJPW for a month makes sense to me (and is much cheaper).
Drew McIntyre has been speaking truth all year. In earlier years he’d be a huge babyface and CM Punk would be the bad guy. I just don’t get why Punk is still over.
In the spirit of this holiday season, I’m glad to be here. It’s nice to be part of a community that understands the difference between criticism and just being an asshole to other fans.
And an extra happy note: I’m happy that I’ll probably be more active in the new year. I gave up on watching TNA a few months ago, but with AEW going to max that’ll be easier to keep up with.

As for Cope…i feel it would have landed better if he arrived as Cope but yeah its too late, he’s our 18th Adam and will enjoy it.
They should have got together and formed a stable called Adam just for fun. I’d have enjoyed that.
