They’re convinced that it’s turning people trans lmao

      CW: Transphobia

They notice that many transwomen express interest in it at some point during their journeys and rather than come to the obvious conclusion of “they liked it because it gave them a relatively safe outlet to explore feelings they were still coming to terms with” they instead decided “the sissy hypno made them trans”

You’d think they’d love it, because it offers them a culturally plausible excuse to explore their secret tastes. “It wasn’t my fault, the hypnotist went off script, I was just there for a weight-loss programme!”

Of course, everyone knows that the dominance/kink community is extremely focused on consent and boundaries, so that excuse is pretty damn flimsy.

Also, if it worked that well, you’d think there would be a whole business model for the inverse model: masculinizing hypnosis for people who aren’t confident in their identity, or as a product for conversion-therapy grift.

That’s watching male motivational videos on YouTube actually. Pretty much exactly what you described.

They freak out about everything turning the children trans.

It’s cute to see someone putting so much latent insecurity in their own gender identity out there for the whole world to see.

Sometimes I go into those hives of scum and villainy and do deep trolling to sow chaos and discord (if I do it right). I’ll say something like:

"I’m just glad I grew up in a time when men were men and we didn’t have schools convincing all the kids to turn trans like they do nowadays because it’s scary to think how I might have turned out if I grew up in the 2010s.

We need society to instruct our children on how to be a men. If we don’t then we shouldn’t be surprised when they end up feeling confused about their gender."

And if a statement like that gets any traction then I usually have those dorks erupting into debate about whether gender is stored in the balls or whether your primary school teacher gives you your gender by reading books to you.

It’s fun watching a group of reactionaries arguing bitterly over which side of their inherently-contradictory political position is the correct one. May they spend their time feuding with one another over their terrible takes and may it cause their movement to fragment into so many competing factions that it would make a Trot blush.

If gender were stored in the balls, then state-funded orchiectomy could create an agender society, truly a wondrous prospect! That is an extremely good bit.

Taking this seriously, this pops straight out of the hyper-idealism of modern chuds. Formerly fascists were right-hegelians when they could muster the effort to read, but now they’re naive idealists.

Instead of refuting baudrillard and crushing the “cathedral”, like the NRx psudointellecutals tried to proclaim; they’ve turned Baudrillard on his head, and believe material reality is created by using symbology to form a hyperreality and then physically manifest it by violence. It’s like a bastardised version of ritual Magick, the Order of the Golden Cudgel

Well, they’re not coherent enough for that but if they were that’s what they’d be described as doing .

So of course they’re obsessed by symbols they really do believe they manifest reality.

I can see why crystal healing granola hippies have an overlap with fascists

Isn’t what you’re describing basically the hyperstition/meme magic shit that at least some of them do proclaim as part of their nihilistic irony poisoning?

They think the end game is those episodes of X Files with subliminal messages in the TVs that make people hallucinate and kill their spouses except instead they’re gonna make straight guys want dick. Their vision of the future isn’t a boot stamping on a human face forever its the Cigarette Smoking Man inserting sissy hypno captions into the video stream during Monday Night Football
